Surya Nautika is a privately-owned company that specializes in marine transportation and offshore support services for Malaysia’s offshore oil and gas industry. It was established on July 5, 2017, through the acquisition of Nearfield Petroleum Services Sdn. Bhd., a licensed Petronas contractor.
After the acquisition, the company was renamed Surya Nautika. Nearfield Petroleum Services Sdn. Bhd. was initially incorporated on March 12, 1996.
Our primary clients include major oil and gas companies like Petronas, Shell, and ExxonMobil, as well as other local and international oil and gas contractors. The company presently owns and operates four fast crew boats and is expecting the delivery of two new vessels in November 2023 and February 2024.
Our dedication to providing excellent services has contributed to Pur success in building strong partnerships and delivering successful outcomes across various projects in the industry.

OUR FUTURE PLAN
Surya Nautika’s aspiration is to become the main and biggest player in Malaysia’s O&G market for the fast crew boat’s segment.
We intend to be a high- class vessel operator/ship manager company. To achieve our aspirations, we have lined-up our strategies for the next few years. They are as follows:
- Increasing our crew boats fleet from existing 4 units to 10 – 15 units within the next 5 years. The addition of new vessels to the current fleet will increase our revenue capacity.
- To own the anchor handling thug and supply vessel(AHTS Vessel).
- To enhance our sub sea and diving segment by acquiring another set of set dive and rov.
- To venture into new ship designs and technologies. Surya Nautika is planning to bring in a modern type crew boats that can move faster and carry more passengers to the Malaysian market. Our shareholder, CMI Offshore is committed to this initiative and has invested time and energy into Surface Effect Ships for crew transfer (SES) and is currently building the world’s first self- propelled air cushioned barge for specialized cargo transport in shallow/marginal waters
