Muhamad Faez bin Ab Gani

Muhamad Faez is a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant with a diverse background in financial services and corporate management. He has 23 years of experience encompassing various areas such as management finance, corporate finance, financial reporting and auditing.
He started his career in 2002 as an audit associate with a chartered public accounting firm; Azman Wong Salleh & Co. Later in 2005, he moved to one of the Big Four Accounting Firm; Ernst & Young. During his time with Ernst & Young, he managed a portfolio of companies consisting of listed entities and GLCs involved in the sectors such as oil & gas, heavy engineering, shipping, plantations, property developments and investment properties.
He left Ernst & Young in 2011 and joined Syarikat Borcos Shipping Sdn. Bhd. (“Borcos”) as the Head of Finance and Strategic Planning and later Chief Financial Officer. Borcos is one of the biggest marine service providers for the oil and gas sector in Malaysia and is a leading player in the fast crew boat segment of the Malaysian market.
He has been with Surya Nautika since its formative year in 2017.
Faizal Bin Abd Aziz

Mr Faizal B Abd Aziz joined the Company in July 2017 as the Head of Engineering for Engineering Division. He heads several engineers which are primarily responsible in Project Management, Engineering, Marine and Underwater Services for Offshore Transportation and Installation businesses. Mr Faizal holds a Master of Science and Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Leeds Metropolitan University (UK).

He started his career in 2007 as field engineer in construction company and started involved in Oil and Gas sector in 2008 as project engineer. He joined Sapura Kencana Petroleum Berhad in 2012 and possesses extensive experiences in offshore transportation and installation, project management and marine subsea. He left Sapura Kencana Petroleum in 2016 and joined Subsurf Sdn Bhd where he lead Engineering department in marine subsea business before he joined Surya Nautika Sdn Bhd in 2017 as head of engineering.
He is a highly capable, result driven, & achievement oriented resource works who has 15 years extensive experience largely in the oil & gas sector, with proven track record to leverage domain expertise & knowledge to oversee engineering design & conceptual study, drive critical project management operations, manage installation engineering, hook up & commissioning, & construction across all aspects of project life cycle, including transportation & installation of pipeline & structure, offshore & onshore field works, while operating in a highly challenging work environment
Richard Keisner
Director
Born in Montreal Canada in 1951, Richard grew up in the United Kingdom where he trained as a Chartered Accountant and qualified in 1973. After working in both London and Montreal he subsequently joined the banking industry in London where he worked for 17 years for Nordic Bank Ltd (subsequently renamed Den Norske Bank and now DnB Nor).

After initially working on the Finance side of the bank, including a year as Acting Chief Financial Officer, he then moved to the Shipping Finance department for 12 years as a Director and member of the Bank’s credit committee. In 1992 Richard became Principal of own private consulting business (Teresta Ltd), advising various clients on corporate development and marine strategy which included:
- Advisor to Midland and Scottish Resources PLC on ongoing development and restructuring of Emerald Field asset financing.
- Development of business for World Carrier Group including initial purchase and charter of FSO Ailsa Craig, and expansion of Caribbean joint venture for mixed international trading vessels.
- Development and execution of marine strategy for Maurel et Prom to enable operation and eventual disposal of 2 cable-lay vessels and assistance in sale of 1 drillship.
- Advisor to BUE Group in its development from a ship manager of offshore vessels for the Azerbaijan State Shipping Company into the Caspian Sea leading offshore services company up until the sale of the business in 2005.
In 2004 he became the International Business Adviser to Irish Mainport Holdings Ltd (IMHL), developing the Ocean Mainport Ltd standby business as a joint venture between Sartor AS of Norway, IMHL and himself. The Ocean Mainport business was built up from one vessel to 17 ships and the IMHL/Keisner interests were acquired by their Norwegian partner in 2008.
In 2005 he founded the CMI Offshore Ltd Group of Companies, together with IMHL. The ownership subsequently expanded with World Carrier Group of Greece investing in the business and with IMHL’s interests being acquired by World Carrier as CMI expanded and IMHL focused on other areas. IMHL are currently now reinvesting in CMI businesses. The CMI business grew significantly over its life reaching a peak of 27 vessels in 2016 before scaling back to the current fleet of 22 vessels. The business is now less focused on the Caspian and operating in a range of emerging markets.
